- Is Postluma generative AI that repaints my photo? No. Postluma does not use generative or image-to-image AI to invent image content. An AI step analyzes your photo and decides which corrections to apply — exposure, white balance, tone, color grading — and a deterministic photographic pipeline renders those decisions the same way every time.
- What's the difference between this and a preset pack? Presets apply the same fixed look to every photo. Postluma's looks are all generated from an analysis of your specific photo, and the app always flags one as "Recommended" for that photo.
- Which look gets picked as Recommended? It depends on the scene. Real night scenes tend to recommend Night, blue-hour and dusk scenes recommend Twilight, low-key photos with a bright subject can recommend Cinematic, and most daytime photos land on Balanced or Summer.
- What file types can I upload? JPEG and PNG today. RAW and HEIC are not supported yet.
- Do I need an account? No — Postluma works today without any sign-up or account.
- What happens to my photo's metadata? Postluma strips EXIF metadata, including GPS location, when it processes your photo.
